Kid America Club

Soooo.Recently on a day off of internet dorking I found this site www.kidamericaclub.com. These guys do all kinds of shit and most of it makes me laugh, or giggle, or just pee a lil bit. Either way it makes me feel good. Think of it as the muppets once they grew up and discovered booze, drugs and girls. The late Harold Hunter was down with them and has some appearances in some skits. It's funny shit and hours of fun. Search out their myspace too, there is some great raps on there.-Nacho

DC Light Box

We got a new gel thingy for in our DC light box, and our rep Mark wanted me to take a picture of it. Well, here it is.

It's barely visible behind the thick layer of frost on our window, because it's MINUS FRIGGIN 20 here right now, and windy. Did I mention we were skating in sweatshirts a week ago?

Holy shit it snowed?

Jon was sooo stoked on wagon season coming early this year. That was until he saw Matt playing with his snowboard and asked what was up. Matt pointed out that it was snowing outside and that he needed to pack up the old Red Express. Jon lost it, almost fired Matt and bent the wagon over his head. Matt calmed him down by showing him the nudie girl sticker he just slapped on his board.

We got friggin gnarly at Martock today boyee. Me and Pete and Jermaine definitely did not hold shit back on this shred mission.

Seriously Martock is actually doin pretty good considering they ain't a flake of snow around nowheres. It's gonna get colder than a mothertrucker in the next few days so they'll be blastin mad snow and openin up trails y'all ain't een ner seen fore. Hit it up.

Pete's back!

This is one of our local reps Pete, he just got back from his extennnded holidays. We usually see him every day, and he hasn't been in for like 3 weeks.

In the bag was chocolate bars, and the new Euro FHM.

LANGERS!!!!!!!

Yesterday at closing time, Zach's brother Ross (aka Langers) decides he wants to try out the q-p. We haven't really been skating it, what with all the CLOTHING RACKS and PRODUCT in the way. We were all getting ready to split for the day, so we weren't really paying attention. Then we hear stuff start crashing down. It wasn't just one rack, or even 2. It was 3, all in a slow motion domino effect that we couldn't do shit about. We just watched it all come crashing down, one after another. And then he's standing there like a friggin idiot, just laughing, claiming he didn't do it!

Look at that bastard in this photo, giggling like a kid.

He knocked over 4-5000 dollars worth of stuff, not to mention the bent up racks, and all he could do was walk around kinda reaching at stuff like this, feigning concern. I don't think he ever picked up one thing, he was too busy laughing.

Martock is OPEN

In case you didn't realize, Gnartock is open. With decent enough conditions for our boy TRZA to stop by and grab a rental board for a couple rizzuns down the hizzill. He was home for christmas and decided to hit up his old stompin grounds.

CBC films new series with Pro

This morning CBC sent the writer/director Jenny Adcock, (teeheehee), down to the shop with the host of her new show, Heidi, and their camera man, Herman, or maybe his name was Robert. I dunno, cant remember. We shot an episode for their noon time show about the new park and just skating in general. Pretty cool. It'll be on t.v. sometime later this month. We'll let you know when.

Spring skating in January

This crazy weather has been pretty hard on the hills and snow sales, but damn we've had some good skate days. Three epic skate days in January so far. I do hope to go snowboarding this winter, but shit, can we complain?


This is Zach's brother Ross, visiting from Spain for the holidays. I think our winter has been so warm he's gonna stay.

Erik came to town to show us the new fall shoes, so we went out for a few drinkypoos. I bailed pretty early, but apparently after Zach and Eric and the rest shut a couple bars down at 4am, Erik made the 5hr drive to Sydney at 7am. Trooper. Thanks for coming out Erik!
