The Boardin' Bulletin Board

Don't you hate it when people who don't skate call it "boarding"? Like when your mom, says "hey, are you and your buddies going boarding after dinner?" and your like "come on moooooom".

Here at Proskates we have started a new bulletin board that I want to feature local skate photos. Not some digital artistic photo. I want ghetto ass, disposable camera, or shitty $25 camera shots. I don't care how grainy it is, or if you didn't land it, or if its a bad angle. Bring em in, and you'll get on the board.

DC Nats Photos

So unless you live under a rock, you'd know that the DC Nationals qualifier went down this past weekend. I have been helping out with these contests for the past few years and I must admit that this was one of the better ones I've witnessed. Some truly amazing skating went down in contest itself. The best was saved for last however and we held three separate best trick contests for cash mon-ay...lets just say this: Shit went down. Big thanks to DC and Mark Regimbal for having events like this in Canada. And more thanks go out to everyone who came out and supported local skateboarding. We need you!
